Mercedes has launched an ultra luxury Maybach called the Haute Voiture.
The idea was to rethink the idea of luxury.
Instead of going minimalist and stripped down, Mercedes was inspired by high end fashion shows featuring faux fur and gold accents.

The concept S680 has the luxury you’d expect from Mercedes with high fashion finishing touches.
The woven fabric on the doors and seats is inspired by Chanel and modes on the infotainment screen feature exclusive rose gold accents.
The cushion inside also says MEOW because head designer Gorden Wagener said it reminded him of Dr Evil in Austin Powers stroking his cat.

The Concept Mercedes-Maybach Haute Voiture was revealed today along with Mercedes’ Project Maybach electric concept car.
The car is a high-end luxury Maybach that will go on sale in really limited numbers.
It’s finished with a unique two-tone color scheme that blends nautical blue with light rose – an exclusive colour combination just for this limited series.
The seats, armrests, the lower part of the instrument panel, the steering wheel and the roof lining are all upholstered in crystal white Nappa leather.
The dashboard is also covered in white chrome with rose gold accents.
The centre console and Mercedes-Maybach badge at the back of the car are also framed in rose gold.
And in case you didn’t notice, there is white faux fur everywhere including on the door pockets, inlay mats and scatter cushion.

A couple of high-fashion outfits and bags were also unveiled alongside the car.
These include a women’s suit, lace dress, a neck top and a skirt with a train.
They feature similar stylings to the interior of the Concept Mercedes-Maybach Haute Voiture.
