Augusto Perfetti is as close as you can get to a real-life version of Willy Wonka.

He made a fortune selling sweets and candies, and he now enjoys said fortune aboard his massive $120 million superyacht called ‘Air’.

Air is a beauty and, at 81 meters (265 feet), the superyacht is massive, too.

Perfetti Van Melle was formed in 2001 when Perfetti’s company merged with Dutch giant Van Melle NV.

Among other things, the company sells Mentos, Frisk, Chupa Chups, Big Babol, and Vigorsol.

At the time of writing, Perfetti is worth $2.8 billion, per Forbes, making him one of the richest men in Italy.

And, as it turns out, the yacht also contributes to that fortune.

This is because anybody can charter his yacht…for a cool $992,000 per week.

About Feadship Air, an 81-meter superyacht

Air was built by Feadship, the same shipyard that built Alvia, the 270-foot yacht ‘Dunes‘, and even Bill Gates’ hydrogen-powered superyacht, known as ‘Project 821‘.

Feadship also built Faith (below), the yacht that Michael Latifi, father of former F1 driver Nicholas Latifi, recently used to watch the Monaco F1 Grand Prix from the port.

Feadship Air has room for 12 guests and 21 crew, as well as a swathe of sea toys, including dinghies, kayaks, waterskis, and even two 300-horsepower tenders.

In addition to that, she also features a dive center for qualified divers and, of course, a pool with a jacuzzi on deck.

Where is Air now?

Some claim that Perfetti, who’s apparently a huge golf fan, spends most of his time golfing in Ireland.

Air was recently spotted near Cobh, a town in Ireland, which is reportedly a place where Perfetti spends a lot of his time.

So this would imply that perhaps the yacht is available for charter, but maybe not right this minute.
