Enough with the 3D movies – now it’s time to experience 5D theaters.

Yep, that’s two – count ’em – two dimensions more.

In China, theaters are offering this new 5D experience to their viewers, making everything feel incredibly real.

It’s far more exhilarating, trust us – you’ll see.

Amazing 5D theater in China that feels incredibly real

The below video shows fire taking place in the hall, and to be honest, it seems incredibly real.

The video was uploaded on an Instagram page called Cheddar.

So why does the fire feel real to the viewers?

How does it all work?

The roof of the hall also has screens, and when the fire expands, it catches up with the roof, making it feel real.

To enhance the experience, artificial heat is generated in the room, along with the smell of burning.

There’s those extra two dimensions at work.

This experience is certainly not for the faint of heart.

Hilarious comments on the video

The viewers on Instagram were definitely surprised by this new 5D theater experience, and the comments were hilarious.

One comment read: “We had this in our house. But it was just a one-time use. After that, we had to call the Fire Brigade.”

Another made a serious remark: “All fun and games until it’s real.”

A third commented: “No one in there had watched Final Destination.”

Another hilarious comment read, “It will become 7D when a real fire breaks out.”

The world of movies and cinemas is constantly evolving, and the future looks bright.

In fact, it was revealed some time ago that even Tesla is stepping into the game by building movie theatres.

For those unaware, 5D theaters combine 3D visuals with physical effects, such as seat movements, water sprays, wind, and even smells, to create a more immersive experience.

This technology first emerged not long ago and has since evolved.

We’re sure to see more of this sort of thing in the future.
