A YouTuber says that everyone buys Chinese cars and EVs because of a very cool feature you’d expect from a car costing $300,000.

YouTuber Paul Maric from CarExpert Australia posted a short video on YouTube of himself inside the 2024 Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Max.

This Chinese SUV costs less than $50,000, but it has some excellent features, including one you’d find on a Mercedes-Benz.

Chinese cars and EVs are seemingly becoming increasingly popular, and they’re often a fraction of the price of cars from America and Europe.

The Chery Tiggo has a cool fragrance dispenser

One of the main features of the Chery Tiggo that Maric is reviewed is a very cool fragrance dispenser.

The feature is located within the car’s infotainment system as shown by the YouTube channel.

It allows you to choose from a variety of scents to freshen the cabin.

These include a Sports smell, Cure, and Natural.

The system has a setting that changes the strength of the aroma, too, with one being the weakest and five the strongest.

Another cool feature is that the scents are contained within little pods that can be removed from their slots in the car.

That means, in theory, you could swap out the fragrance for any of your own choosing.

In addition to the scents, there is an air quality monitor and ionizer, another feature you’d expect in a higher-priced car.

Chinese cars are becoming ever more popular

The 2024 Chery Tiggo is just one of several Chinese cars and EVs you can buy outside of the country.

Brands such as BYD have launched the Dolphin and Sealion, while even smartphone maker Xiaomi has entered the auto game.

Xiaomi launched the SU7, a stylish-looking electric sedan that’s available for just $30,000 in the US.

These vehicles, and more, are becoming a big concern for Europe and America.

They could offer more capabilities at a fraction of the price.

That concern will grow further if they have even more clever features, such as a fragrance dispenser!

We just wonder what weird and whacky flavors people might come up with to use inside their cars.

How about having a fragrance that smells like an old two-stroke engine?
