The Lexus LC 500 is one of the most beautiful cars currently in production.

So it begs the question, why would someone choose to alter the design, in this case by applying a custom wrap?

Whatever the reason, that’s exactly what’s happened, as the owner has fitted a chameleon-like design.

If the truth be told, it looks like it’s been designed by a child who loves space.

The infamous custom-wrapped Lexus LC 500

Not only has the Lexus LC 500 been given a custom wrap, its exterior also features bold red accents.

Those accents tie in with the cockpit, which is also covered in red and black.

Save for a few additions, the cockpit appears to have escaped the owner’s wrath.

Where is the custom-wrapped Lexus LC 500?

The truth is, the location of the custom-wrapped sports car is unknown, although it was photographed with its roof down in a parking lot somewhere in the US.

Those pictures then ended up being posted to the worst.spec Instagram account which, as you can imagine, caused their fair share of controversy.

People are keen to establish why someone would go out of their way to arguably ruin a once-fine ride, and there has even been the occasional Los Santos Customs reference for good measure.

Can it be reverted?

The good news is that the sports car can easily be reverted back to its original condition.

All the owner would need to do is remove the custom wrap and repaint the car, wheels and other components.

As for the interior modifications, like the seatbelt add-ons and what’s been added to the gear shifter – they can also be easily removed.

About the LC 500

If you were to buy a 2025 LC 500, it’d set you back at least $100,000.

However, for your money you’d be getting a naturally-aspirated V8 that can be revved up to 7,300 rpm.

That 5.0-liter lump produces 471 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque at 4,800 rpm, good for the 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) sprint in 4.4 seconds and a top speed go 168 mph (270 km/h).

In other Lexus-related news, a $100 million Bose suspension prototype Lexus ended up on FB Marketplace.

Meanwhile, Lexus plans to produce an outrageous V8 supercar rivalling the Aston Martin Vantage and Mercedes-AMG GT.
