Man spending huge sums repairing his Bugatti Veyron gets a break after discovering cheap $10 fix to one of its issues

One Bugatti Veyron driver has managed to correct a major issue in its engine with a stunning $10 fix.

The Bugatti Veyron is every young man’s dream, having once been the fastest car in the world and popularised in every magazine throughout the naughties and twenties.

But one man had managed to get a Bugatti at quite a bargain price after previous owners had made quite a mess of its insides.

After spending huge sums on getting it back to its prime, the owner has now found a stunning $10 fix for the beloved supercar.

Bugatti Veyron Driver finds awesome $10 fix for major issue

Bugatti Veyron’s are notoriously expensive to fix, as the ‘poorest owner’ previously revealed.

But its very exclusive club of owners includes Justin Beiber and LeBron James, so you can see the appeal as to why getting them back up and running is an investment worth making.

A YouTube personality over at Hoovies Garage has recently documented that his Veyron was struggling with some very expensive repairs, as the check engine light continued to flash.

The problem appeared to be an evaporative emissions leak, likely caused by a faulty purge valve, and finding a replacement Bugatti part would cost thousands.

However, the owner has found an extremely cheap alternative, costing a mere tenner.

Rumour had it that Bugatti parts are somewhat interchangeable with other Audi products, and lo-and-behold, they came at a much more affordable price than a custom Veyron replacement would.

So, the team replaced the purge valves with two $5 Bosch alternatives.

To their shock, and with a little bit of innovation, the Bugatti ran perfectly. What a fix!

Zip it, shrimpy!

What makes this even more extraordinary is that the supercar is now being held together by a zip tie.

Yes, that piece of plastic that is used for strapping parcels down or tying people up kidnappers in movies.

The new Bosch parts have been tightened into this six-figure engine with a $1 multipack zip tie.

It’s a shame that this Veyron owner couldn’t snag themselves some Audi parts for this outrageous fix job too.

The owner has already put 1,500 miles on the Veyron’s clock and is hoping to get it back on the track soon.
