Drake gives $100,000 to cancer survivor at his concert

Cancer survivor Lauren Schwallier almost didn’t go to the Drake show in Nashville, Tennessee, but she’ll certainly be happy she did.
Halfway through the show, Drake acknowledged her presence, and gave her an amazing gift.

Schwallier, a 33-year-old from Nashville, stood in the pit near the stage and held a sign in the crowd that read ‘No Mo’ Chemo’ on one side, and ‘Just finished chemo’ on the other side.
Right after performing God’s Plan, and this was probably not a coincidence, Drake interrupted the show to acknowledge Schwallier’s presence.
“Somebody loves you,” Drake told the crowd, and Schwallier.
“I see everybody pointing to this sign and I can’t miss it,” Drake continued. “So, bring her to the front real quick. ‘Cause this is an important moment.”
“Forget Drake, forget anybody else in the building right now. That’s a true soldier right there.”
And then the best part came.
“I hope my manager doesn’t kill me ’cause I’ve never really done this much, but, listen, I want you to cash this in at the end of the night,” Drake said.
“We’re gonna give you $100,000. I love you and I wish you the best. Nashville, make some noise for her one more time.”
Schwallier has been battling with cancer since 2022.
Even though she still has to undergo at least two operations and has to wait for the results of her scans to see if she is cancer free, she’s feeling positive.
The worst, it seems, is behind her.
Drake isn’t new to this, as he’s done giveaways before.
Not long ago, he gave away a car at a show.
Interestingly, Drake has also been on the receiving end of such generosity.
A while back, he was gifted a Boeing from a Canadian cargojet company as part of a brand deal.
