Elon Musk recently reacted to a video of a street race between a Tesla Cybertruck and a Lamborghini on the streets of Virginia.
The short video went viral on X with many users praising the EV truck.
The Lamborghini in the video appears to be a blue Aventador Roadster.
Both cars can be seen approaching each other with the drivers exchanging words before rushing down the street.

Tesla Cybertruck beating a Lamborghini in a street race
If you think about the Tesla Cybertruck and a Lamborghini racing each other, which car would you back to come out on top?
Most people would think it would be the Lamborghini, but the EV truck might have the advantage in the right circumstances.
That’s exactly what happened here.
Many people online were surprised to see the Cybertruck beating a Lamborghini Aventador in a street race.
However, when you consider that the EV truck can go from 0-60mph in 2.6 seconds, a lot of things start to make sense.
Whereas, the Lamborghini Aventador Roadster takes 2.9 seconds to go from 0-60mph.
Elon Musk boasts about the Tesla Cybertruck
After seeing the video, originally uploaded by CCJ Media, even Elon Musk boasted about the speed of the Tesla Cybertruck compared to other supercars.
The Tesla CEO shared the video on his account and also wrote, “Cybertruck can beat a Porsche 911 while towing a Porsche 911!”
He was referencing a viral video from late 2023.
In that video, the EV truck outpaces a Porsche 911 in a drag race, all while towing another Porsche 911.
The car model in that video is a Porsche 911 Carrera T.
It can reach 0-60mph in 4.3 seconds, which is significantly slower than the Cybertruck.
Surprisingly these cars have a way higher top speed than the EV truck.
However, in short-distance races, the Cybertruck might have an advantage, due to its Beast Mode.
Plus it also depends on the driver’s capability to bring out the best performance in the car.
