In a bid to see how much they could confuse the Monaco supercar spotters, these UK guys built a fake Bugatti and a fake Ferrari.
Monaco is known as one of the richest countries in the world, where supercars, yachts, and celebrities gather in a land of luxury.
But how easily can the well-off Monegasque – people from Monaco – be fooled?
This fake Bugatti and Ferrari duo found out quickly.

UK YouTuber took a fake Bugatti and Ferrari to Monaco
Given the fact that Bugatti supercars are so rarely seen in public, creating fakes can be an impossible task.
Ferrari, on the other hand, is a blueprint that many people have replicated with semi-convincing fakes. In fact, some are so good that when placed next to the $20m real deal, the fake Ferrari can be impossible to spot.
But UK YouTuber RETALI8 made a ‘Bugatti Veyron’ from a Ford Streetka, and the result was hilarious.

Firstly, the Streetka was recklessly sandpapered. Then it was covered in masking tape and sprayed black to sport the iconic strip of the Veyron.
The upside-down grille that is synonymous with Veyron’s was disastrously created with expanding foam, leaving it dented and warped.
The interior was then wrapped in fake Alcantara and carbon fiber. LED lights lit up the footwells, and the steering wheel was given a similar wrap.
Aside from that, the upgrades were negligible. The 1.6-liter engine definitely didn’t roar like a Bugatti.
Nonetheless, he was off to Monaco alongside a friend in a fake Ferrari.
That wasn’t veyron-y nice of you
The trip wasn’t without its hurdles, as the cars would be making a rough 1,100-mile trip from Manchester, UK, to Monte Carlo, Monaco.
Before hitting the English Channel, though, the fake Bugatti broke down and needed assistance.
But with their foot down, the car plowed on and got them to the Ferry.
After driving through France, the fake supercars landed in Monaco. They then succeeded in getting the, ahem, Bugatti Veyron into one of the most exclusive casino parking lots.

Believe it or not, the car was filmed and photographed by many onlookers. They had either been hoodwinked into thinking it was really a Bugatti, or they were just baffled by what they saw.
Considering that Monaco is usually docked with supercars like Fernando Alonso’s Ford GT Heritage Edition, and more recently, one tennis star’s Aston Martin V12 Speedster, the Bugatti makeup was still good enough to slip this Ford in.
Somehow.
