The German automaker has unveiled the amazing BMW Skytop concept car at the Concorso d’Eleganza event.

We had a chance to take a look at the concept car at Villa d’Este in Italy.

Check out the 1-off BMW Skytop luxury concept car that pays tribute to Z8.

The BMW Skytop has taken inspiration from the Z8, 503, and the 8-series.

Although BMW Z8 was more of a post-modern muscle car, the Skytop is more decorous and luxurious.

Of course, the concept car is a convertible with a leather roof that seamlessly blends into the body of the car.

However, you will have to remove the roof and place it in the trunk manually.

Obviously, this is not the only concept car that the German automaker has revealed recently.

Over the years BMW has shown many different concept cars, some of which have even made it into production.

While there also have been cars like the BMW GINA, that were too unique to put into production.

Currently, the German automaker is considering putting the BMW Skytop into production if it receives enough interest.

The car will certainly become a collector’s item, with only 50 models likely to be made.

However, rumors suggest that it will cost more than half a million dollars.

Compared to other BMW concept cars, the Skytop is much more realistic.

The BMW Skytop features a 617-horsepower 4.4-liter V-8 from the M8 Competition.

It is also using the M8 Competition’s eight-speed automatic transmission and trick all-wheel drive system.

The entire car is covered head to toe with reddish brown leather, even the removable roof.

If the BMW Skytop receives enough attention online, we might just see the car go into production.
