BMW Z8

If you’re a fan of James Bond, you’ll know all about the BMW Z8.

The car was featured in the 1999 movie The World Is Not Enough and in the games James Bond 007: Agent Under Fire and 007 Racing.

Funnily enough, it wasn’t the car’s appearance in the movie or games that brought it fame, it was its rarity.

The BMW Z8 is a rare machine, with only 5,702 examples ever made.

This particular example is noteworthy due to its specification and low mileage.

CHECK THIS OUT!

This is one of 229 vehicles that have been specced from the factory in ‘Jet Black’ over a ‘Crema’ leather interior.

How low’s the mileage?

Pretty darn low, having covered just under 12,000 kilometers (7,430 miles) since it came out of the factory in 2002, with only two recorded owners.

Near-perfect condition

As you can see from the pictures, those two owners have really looked after the BMW Z8, as it looks in near-perfect condition.

The Jet Black paintwork looks impeccable, as does the unmarked Crema leather interior.

The car is pictured sitting on a set of 20″ Alpina Dynamic D01 rims wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires, but the original wheels are included in the sale.

As is a matching Jet Black hardtop, which even comes with a stand to handily stow it away when not in use.

Included are a variety of items that come with the car new, such as the factory tools, delivery letter, serialized coffee table book, rear window protector, and car cover.

Boasting a full service history, the Z8’s M5-sourced V8 engine should be running as sweet as a nut, too.

BMW Z8 price

This is quite possibly one of the finest BMW Z8s around, so we’re fully expecting it to gain a lot of attention when it goes to auction next month.

It’s difficult to say how much it’ll change hands for, but low-mileage examples have achieved as much as $500,000 at auction in the past.

The BMW Z8 is only getting older and more desirable, therefore, we’re hopeful it’ll achieve this amount, if not more.

The vehicle is being offered with no reserve when it goes to auction with RM Sotheby’s on January 26, 2023.
