Cops in Florida have seized and impounded high-end supercars, including a Ferrari SF90 and Porsche 911 GT3 RS, after a ‘street takeover’ on Interstate 75.
More than 25 exotic cars turned out on I-75 in Collier County, Florida, on February 22 shortly after 4 pm.
The road became flooded with vehicles, some of which were taking part in street racing, with a Porsche being clocked at more than 140mph.
The incident led to multiple traffic stops, three arrests, and numerous vehicles being impounded.

Cops say more than 25 vehicles were involved in the incident
The street takeover started around 4.05pm when Florida Highway Patrol state troopers were called to a report of stopped vehicles and heavy traffic congestion on I-75.
There were also reports of a helicopter flying at ‘low altitude’ above the gaggle of vehicles.

When the cops arrived they found five ‘dark-colored SUVs’ parked side by side blocking the travel lanes and shoulders, Florida Highway Patrol said in a statement.
According to the officers, ‘several individuals’ had hopped out of their vehicles to watch a green Porsche 911 GT3 RS perform ‘aggressive circular spins’ – better known as donuts.
As anyone who has witnessed donuts can attest to, the spinning Porsche soon created a thick cloud of smoke which left a ‘visible haze in the area’.
Several supercars were impounded and three arrests were made
A report from the state troopers went on to say that while they were responding to the incident involving people standing around on the busy highway, more than 25 high-performance vehicles – or supercars – were seen driving north at a ‘high rate of speed’.
One of the vehicles, a blue Ferrari SF90, was seen clocked by Florida Highway Patrol traveling at speeds of 148mph.
As you might have imagined, the incident led to several arrests and some of the high-end vehicles being impounded.

The green Porsche 911 GT3 RS – that had been illegally entertaining bystanders – was located and impounded, while its owner was placed under arrest.
An unregistered blue Porsche was also impounded by cops, alongside the Ferrari SF90 that was seen hitting speeds of almost 150mph.
The drivers of both of the vehicles were arrested and charged.
