After purchasing the largest superyacht in America last month, costing $450 million, Google co-founder Sergey Brin has reportedly finally taken its delivery.

The billionaire powerhouse first bought the superyacht ‘Project Ali Baba’ last month.

However, the half-a-billion mansion-on-the-waves hadn’t yet been docked at Sergey Brin’s shores. Instead, the investment had been getting prepped for sale while being docked in Germany.

Now though, it’s been reported that the largest superyacht in America is now firmly on the way to Sergey Brin’s possession.

America’s largest superyacht is on the way

The billionaires who are jostling for the title of the world’s richest person have continued to one-up each other and Brin has hoped that this monster of the seas – while not worth as much as Jeff Bezos’ – will prove to be a bragging right above the others.

After buying the largest yacht in America last month, reports have emerged that the superyacht is setting a voyage towards the US.

According to the tracking site ‘Vessel Finder‘, the boat has finally set sail as it has left Lürssen’s shipyard in Bremen, Germany, and is currently docked in Portsmouth, UK.

‘Dragonfly’ – which appears to be the superyacht’s new name, akin to Brin’s previous boat – arrived in the UK on December 5, and it’s reported that it is gearing up for the trip across the Atlantic.

Sergey Brin’s superyacht is getting some wild upgrades

Before cruising over to the US, the superyacht is reportedly making one final stop in Europe, as Luxury Launches claims that it will be docking for seven days in Barcelona to have a new feature added.

Its excursion to Barca is set to see an entire inflatable beach house be added, which joins a host of wonderful and wacky features on board.

The boat also boasts a 45-person large crew, 24 guest suites, two helipads, a beach club, and multiple swimming pools.

Brin’s previous Dragonfly yacht also had an attachable banana boat, which will be a shoo-in to be added again.

The Google Co-Founder will still have to wait a bit longer before it pulls into a dock in the US, but we’re sure his private jet can drop him off at the local helicopter place in Barcelona if he wishes to see just what he’s bought.

Oh to be a billionaire, eh?
