Kim Kardashian spent a significant chunk of cash on her jet, but made it worth even more.

Kim spent a whopping $95 million on her plane, but the jet is arguably worth at least $50-60 million more than that now.

And it’s no longer ‘Kim Kardashian’s jet’, it’s actually called ‘Kim Air’ now.

Because of course it is.

Kim Kardashian is part of an elite group of media personalities whose net worth has surpassed 10 figures.

Per Forbes, Kim is worth $1.7 billion.

You can tell by looking at her plane.

Kim Kardashian bought her Gulfstream jet in 2021 for around $90 million.

The jet underwent extensive custom modifications, and the interior was redesigned by Kim herself, along with interior designers Tommy Clements and Waldo Fernandez.

There are new cashmere-covered seats and ceilings, and new wood finishes.

The jet is pretty large, too.

It doesn’t only have seats, it has set beds, too.

Custom jet vs ‘standard’ jet

Generally speaking, celebrities always customize their jet.

The difference is some people go wild – like Kim Kardashian – while others don’t.

Cristiano Ronaldo, Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk all own a Gulfstream 650ER, and their jet is relatively discreet.

That doesn’t apply to Kim, and it certainly doesn’t apply, for example, to Drake.

The plane was actually a gift from a Canadian airline.

He got it for free but spent a lot of money to have it customized, which is something he’s done twice.

First a few years ago and then once again recently, when he had it repainted with a new livery, which he now calls ‘Air Drake 2′.

Then again we should also point out that while celebrities like Kim and Drake certainly love showing off their private jets, businesspeople Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk usually don’t.
