Michael Jordan’s mansion is down 50% in value while on sale despite coming with amazing free gifts

This mansion belongs to Michael Jordan and it has been on the market for over a decade.

With heightened security, great privacy and high-end fixtures, celebrity homes are usually an easy sell, and yet Jordan has been struggling to find a buyer.

Recently he made the drastic decision to slash the price by half from $29 million to $14.9 million, plus he threw in some free gifts.

The place is a millionaire’s paradise, with a private putting course, a huge home cinema and an indoor basketball court used by Jumpman himself.

It comes fully furnished, with a caveat that might be the reason no buyers are biting.

Jordan built the property in 1995 and NBA star had it fully customized.

It cost him $50 million so even though this does qualify as a bargain, in a way, prospective buyers know they’d be buying a house that was built by someone else – for someone else.

And it shows.

This is the home he lived in while making basketball history, where he came to rest after a long day of being Michael Jordan.

The property is listed as fully furnished, allowing buyers to live just like Jordan did in his heyday.

Much of the furniture is stylish and priceless, including luxurious leather couches and a built-in espresso machine.

One notable piece is his ‘Baghdad Table’, worth just under $40,000 and showcasing a silhouette of the streets of Baghdad, Iraq.

This rare dining table is one of ten ever created and features a bird’s eye view of the Iraqi city crafted from aluminium embedded into its top.

Then there’s his basketball pavilion where Jordan and his teammates used to practice, complete with a locker room.

The home also boasts a basketball-shaped infinity pool, a temperature-controlled wine cellar, and an ornate door from the Playboy Mansion, for some reason.

A trophy room is at the heart of the home, trophies sadly not included.

While the purchase of this home comes with plenty of furniture it also comes with a huge catch: none of the furniture can be resold.

This makes it tricky for anyone who wants the home but maybe not all the Jumpman logos embedded into it.

Or doesn’t have the cigar collection needed to fill up his custom-made cigar cabinets.

Rather than paring down the personalized elements of his home, Jordan has thrown in even more freebies to sweeten the deal.

He will give a complete collection of his Air Jordan shoes to whoever buys the property.
