German tuner Manhart did its thing with the Porsche 911 GT2 RS, giving it a lot more power and some cool upgrades.
Ordinarily, tuning companies tend to prioritize making their cars a lot more conspicuous with Need For Speed-style mods.
On this occasion, they have certainly done that, but they also put a lot more focus and effort on the thing that truly matters: performance.
This 911 is now producing (nearly) 1,000 horsepower.

One of the most powerful Porsche 911s ever
Manhart gave the Porsche 911 GT2 RS with the Weissach package even more power.
They call it the TR 950, and it has new intake manifolds, new intercooler and an ECU remap and larger turbochargers.
As a result, the TR 950 now produces 966 horsepower and 800lb-ft of torque.

Visually, the modifications are evident but not necessarily ‘in your face’ like they can be in similar models, maybe apart from the massive wing at the back.
Aside from that, you’ve got a new front spoiler and aero flics, new side skirts, a diffuser and custom air intake inserts.

The interior is also different, mainly because of the new cool red accents throughout.
The price hasn’t been revealed yet, but the ‘standard’ Weissach 911 had a price tag of around $350,000 when it was new, and it’s worth even more now.
We can expect the Manhart one to cost close to seven figures.

About Manhart
When compared to other equivalent tuners, this particular tuning company stands out because it tends to focus a lot more on performance.
We can see that with their BMW M4 as well as a their M4 CSL.
This is also clear when we look at other Porsche models they modified in the past.

A while back, they launched the TR 800, an 800-horsepower orange monster based on the Porsche 911 Turbo S.
