Cristiano Ronaldo is about to become the highest-paid soccer player in the history of the sport.
The 37-year-old striker, who was gifted a Rolls-Royce Dawn for Christmas this year, has now confirmed he is joining the Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr.
Under the reported deal, which will see him play until June 2025, Ronaldo will be paid around $200 million per year.
That’s more than $1 million each week.

This salary, which reportedly includes commercial deals, would be the largest ever in the history of soccer.
The Al Nassr football team posted a photo of the Portuguese star holding the number 7 jersey, describing it as “history in the making”.

“This is a signing that will not only inspire our club to achieve even greater success, but inspire our league, our nation and future generations, boys and girls to be the best version of themselves,” the post said.
“Welcome Cristiano to your new home, Al Nassr FC.”
The contract is reported to bind him to Al Nassr and Saudi Arabia until 2030.
It’s all part of Saudi Arabia’s bid to host the World Cup in 2030.
When he played for Manchester United, the 37-year-old was bringing home more than $600,000 per week.
Now, he’ll be earning more than $1 million each week.
That’s a significant jump in the right direction.
With that cash, the soccer superstar will have no trouble adding to his already enviable supercar collection.
In fact, he might even have to leave it all behind in the UK and grow it from the ground up in Saudi.
This means we might be lucky enough to see some of Ronaldo’s luxury cars pop up in the second-hand market.
Cristiano Ronaldo car collection
Cristiano Ronaldo has an estimated net worth of around $490 million, so it’s unsurprising his garage houses some of the most expensive supercars in the world.
Among others, he owns a $8.8 million Bugatti Centodieci, $1.8 million Ferrari Monza SP1, $1.7 million McLaren Senna, and a custom Mercedes G-Wagen by Brabus.
The ex-Manchester United player also has a couple of Rolls-Royce, including the $450,000 Phantom, the $350,000 Cullinan, and the $350,000 Dawn he was just given by his girlfriend Georgina Rodríguez.
Ronaldo also has an epic watch collection.
