SpaceX plans to build one rocket daily inside Starfactory
SpaceX has been dedicated to its space missions more than ever.
Recently, Starship completed its first full test flight, and now we have the news regarding the expansion of Starfactory.
Their primary goal is to test more frequent launches and ultimately take Starship beyond new horizons.
Certainly, space has been so much more accessible since SpaceX entered the game.
This revolutionary expansion of Starfactory is set to be inaugurated this summer.
A vast area has been acquired to set up the facility, boosting the production rate of these advanced rockets.
Elon Musk’s game-changing Mars plan feels so much real now.
Plans to reach long-term goals faster
Starship, the flagship rocket of SpaceX, is also set to undergo some new modifications in this mega-factory.
This improved version will be called the Starship 2.
Similarly, the upgraded model has flaps moved to improve reliability.
It will also carry more fuel and be lighter, allowing it to travel further.
“A newer version of Starship has the forward flaps shifted leeward. This will help improve reliability, ease of manufacturing and payload to orbit,” Elon Musk said on X.
Elon Musk’s passion for space, especially for Mars is something whole world knows about. And with projects like Starfactory, he’s planning to reach his long-term goals faster.
Moreover, SpaceX recently announced its intent to launch the world’s biggest rocket to reach Mars.
Many astronauts have even signed up with SpaceX for their upcoming missions.
Among them is also Shift4 Payments CEO Jared Isaacman, who is ready to undertake the Polaris Dawn mission.
While it seems like SpaceX has come a long way, it’s just the start.
While Musk has the reins, the company is set to come up with more revolutionary projects like this in the future.
