Stunning moment student pilot lands plane without front landing gear

This is the incredible moment a flight instructor coached a 21-year-old student pilot on how to land her damaged plane.
Student pilot Taylor Hash was flying a single-engine Diamond Star in Michigan when the plane lost its front wheel.
Hash was only alerted to the situation when another pilot noticed what was going on and radioed the air traffic controller.

“The entire front wheel assembly is on the runway,” the pilot can be heard saying.
This is when veteran pilot and flight instructor Chris Yates takes control of the situation and radios Hash as she’s in the air.
“Are you by yourself?” he says.
“I am solo,” she confirms.
Yates then informs her he’s an instructor and he’s going to do everything in his power to help her land safely.
“What’s your name, kiddo?” he says.
“My name’s Taylor,” she responds.
“Taylor, this is Chris, my daughter’s name’s Taylor and I taught her to fly, so we’re going to be just fine, kiddo,” he says.
Hash sounds relieved, saying, “thank you very much”.
“OK kiddo, just keep that stick all the way back and let it down nice and easy, nice and smooth,” he says.
“Pull that nose up as long as you can.
“Here she comes, the nose is going to come down.”
Hash then brings the plane in to land, maintaining full control of the situation.
“You’re ok, you’re ok, talk to me kid,” Yates says as the plane scoots along the tarmac.
“I’m good, I’m all good,” Hash replies.
Yates is obviously stoked with how well it turned out, congratulating Hash on her landing.
“Atta girl, proud of you,” he says.
The situation, albeit hair-raising, is super wholesome.
What makes it even cooler is the pair met up afterward, with Hash thanking Yates for his incredible support.
