Supercar Blondie was given exclusive access to an ‘invisible’ BMW – a car that was deemed too dangerous to ever be produced.

Filmed back in 2019, Alex Hirschi got up close to BMW’s brand-new line-up that included a completely bullet-proof X5 and a cool concept car.

However, it was the ‘Invisible BMW’ – the VBX6 Vantablack – that particularly stood out… or didn’t, because as Supercar Blondie pointed out, the car all but disappears into the background.

This is thanks to its special nano-technology coating, which can absorb the light so there’s no reflection at any angle.

The carmaker decided it would be too dangerous to mass produce the vehicle.

“They’re actually not going to produce this color for a BMW, because it would be too dangerous,” Supercar Blondie said.

“Literally, if the lights were on, it would look like the car was floating, due to the coating on top of it.”
