An American YouTuber has shown us how to escape from a Tesla Cybertruck should you ever become stuck in the pickup truck’s bed.

YouTuber Jeremy Judkins decided to trap himself in the bed for a YouTube Short and reveal how you can get out, thanks to a small panel in the bed.

As the video shows, if you get stuck in the truck, it’s best to have your phone on you so you can use its flashlight.

As the video shows, you may have to fumble around in the back of the Tesla.

Getting stuck in a Cybertruck doesn’t look fun.

It’s unlikely many of us will ever find ourselves stuck in the back of the EV.

However, to trap himself, Judkins allows the bed’s cover to close in over him, with no way of opening it up from the inside.

Once in the bed, the YouTuber says it is totally dark inside the truck, with no indications at all as to how to escape.

Fortunately, Tesla seems to have thought about this.

Inside the bed, there is a small panel with a symbol on the outside.

This panel tells you that you can open the rear flap normally used to load or unload the truck.

When you pull the panel off, inside, you will find two red cords that look a bit like parachute straps.

First, you have to reach in and pull them out of the panel.

Next, you give them a hard pull.

You should then hear a click, which means you have now engaged them.

After that, the Cybertruck’s rear flap should automatically lower.

That will then allow you to climb out of the truck and return to civilization.

With it being so dark, the YouTuber says that if you do get stuck inside, it is best to have your phone on you.

That way, you can find the panel hidden in the darkness.

This is never a problem when on a regular pickup with an exposed bed.

However, with the Cybertruck’s bed closing, there is a slim chance you will be stuck inside.

Someone at Tesla HQ must have become caught in the Cybertruck, leading to this novel way of escaping the darkness.
