Urban explorers have discovered a deserted mansion in the woods.

As for its location – who knows – but typical of this day and age, they documented the whole thing in a video posted to TikTok.

It’s slightly creepy but cool at the same time, especially the stunning car abandoned outside the deserted mansion.

It’s hard to know for certain what the car is, but if we were to guess, it looks like an MG MGB.

Almost as cool as the abandoned Mustang saved after 30 years in a cow field.

As for the deserted mansion itself, according to obsoletevoids, it was once the home of a CIA agent.

He apparently lived there with his wife until around 15 years ago, when they supposedly upped and left.

Reminds us of the $31 million mansion from Batman Begins that’s rotting away.

After taking a nosey around, the urban explorers discovered a room full of clothes belonging to the woman.

They also spotted a framed photograph of a woman, buried beneath items littering the floor – presumably the man’s wife or a family member.

Judging by the state of the place, and the fact that there’s tonnes of stuff that’s been left behind, they left in a hurry.

What’s more, it looks like the house has been rummaged through, like someone was looking for something specific.

The urban explorers even found personal documents which aren’t something you’d carelessly leave behind.

The question on everyone’s lips: why did they leave in such a hurry?
