Say hello to the 2024 Rezvani BEAST – the California-based performance marque’s latest supercar.

It follows on from the company’s debut model, the original BEAST, which launched a decade ago.

As well as a mid-engine layout, courtesy of a donor C8 Chevrolet Corvette chassis, the all-new supercar has a lightweight carbon-fiber body and a twin-turbocharged 6.2-liter V8.

Rezvani Motors has a track record of building vehicles using donor chassis.

The original BEAST, for example, used the chassis of the Ariel Atom, which helped reduce the curb weight to a just 1,470 pounds.

The 2024 Rezvani BEAST comes in heavier at 2,960 pounds, but it has a lot more power than its predecessor.

According to Rezvani, the 2024 BEAST has peak output of 1,000 horsepower, which is good for a 2.5-second 0-97 km/h (0-60 mph) sprint time.

Power is sent to the rear wheels via the donor Corvette’s 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

The 2024 Rezvani BEAST sits on 20-inch wheel up front and 21-inch wheels at the rear.

What makes this supercar stand out, though, are its unique dihedral doors which open vertically.

It’s also got a removable roof panel creating a targa-style opening for an open-air driving experience.

On the inside, Rezvani has redesigned the donor Corvette’s interior.

The 2024 Rezvani BEAST is limited to just 20 units, each costing $485,000.

But that’s just the starting price, as there’s a long list of options available that will quickly bump the cost up.

On that lists are a number of features normally found on armored sedans and SUVs, including ballistic protection for the body and windows.

The performance marque also offers a ‘007 Package’ – a name chosen as a nod to the world’s most famous spy.

Included in the package are safety features such as sirens, blinding lights, magnetic dead bolts, electrified door handles, a thermal night vision camera, military-rated run-flat tires, a pepper spray dispenser, and even a smoke screen.

Sounds as far fetched as the Koenigsegg ‘Königsei’, which runs on hydrogen and recycled eggshell composites.
