If you are planning to buy an electric car but are worried about its range, then take a look at the 2025 Lucid Air GT.
The specs on this EV are also quite impressive and its range is more than enough for a cross-country trip.
Of course, not many people can afford to spend a six-figure sum on an EV car, but if you can, then definitely consider the Lucid Air GT.
Although it’s not a Tesla, it has a range of 500+ miles (804km), which is more than any other EV car in the market.

2025 Lucid Air GT range test
The 2025 Lucid Air GT (Grand Touring) is a long-range variant of the car with a 118-kWh battery.
Built on the 920+ V architecture, the battery allows the car to charge to 200 miles in 12 minutes.
The 819hp EV also competes with many electric supercars in terms of speed, reaching 0-60mph in just three seconds.
However, the best thing about the 2025 Lucid Air GT is its range.
Officially, the EV has a range of 512 miles on a full battery charge.
But that’s in a regular test environment, how does it perform in real life?
Real-life range test
Fortunately, the Out of Spec team has tested a Lucid Air GT on an eight-hour-long range test.
They took the EV car on a 70-mph highway and drove it from California to Colorado non-stop.
However, they also drove the car at 70mph, which is higher than the 60mph average speed of the EPA range test.
The car also had its A/C set to 70 F (21.1 C) for the eight-hour trip.
According to the test, the EV went 482 miles (776km) to go from 100 to zero.
Even at zero percent battery, the EV managed to drive a couple of extra miles before finally coming to a stop.
In the end, it covered a total of 523 miles (841km).
Although some hybrid cars from BYD may have a better range, the 2025 Lucid Air GT is the highest-range pure EV car in the world right now.
