One ‘lucky’ man has found an abandoned fake Lamborghini on sale for just $12,000.

It looks so good that it almost fooled everyone.

This suspected Lamborghini Diablo appeared to be quite a showpiece at this local garage, but after being bought from a mutual friend it soon appeared that something wasn’t quite right.

Although it took some figuring out, it was fake.

Car expert buys fake Lambo to hoodwink fellow supercar owners

Fake Lamborghini supercars are quite common, and we recently found one that has sold for just $300 – which surprised absolutely nobody when it was found out to not be the real deal.

But this car was much, much harder to figure out.

The ‘Lambo’ in question was first brought to the attention of a VinWiki podcast guest Sam Hard – also a content creator on Hard Up Garage – who first saw it abandoned in a garage just around the corner from his own.

Immediately he recognized that it was a replica, but decided that he wanted to make this car as close to a Fast and Furious car as he could.

After buying it outright, he found that everything that was supposed to be convinced appeared to be legitimate.

The doors worked as a Lambo’s do, the wheels looked incredible, and the engine was the only real giveaway.

Fake Lamborghini looked so good it almost tricked experts

Nicknamed ‘Lam-poor-ghini’, the owner took his abandoned fake Lamborghini to an exclusive car event filled with the finest supercars in the UK, and parked it right next to other Murciélagos.

From ’20 feet’ away, this was a chamaeleon.

The color was perfect, the body was almost immaculate aside from a headlight giveaway, and it was only until the interior was shown that other supercar owners began to raise suspicion.

Sam claimed that he was treated well by those who did crack the case, who joined in on the joke and took pictures, rather than having him kicked out as an imposter.

“It had the look and style of a supercar but it had the interior that the kids could enjoy, and that’s what it is all about,” he said.

The fake Lambo game appears to be getting stronger by the minute, as it was only Brits who were hoodwinked recently.

This Seattle man also had supercar owners baffled at his lime green Diablo bought straight from Craigslist.
