Apple’s iOS17 is causing another surprise problem in multiple different iPhone models

Apple iOS17 has had a troubled start so far with many users reporting several issues.

Aside from the well-known overheating issue, Apple users are now complaining about another issue.

Some users are now reporting that their iPhones are rebooting themselves at night, seemingly out of the blue.

People are now taking to Reddit and X to explain what’s been going on.

Some users realized their iPhone had turned itself off during the night because when they picked it up in the morning they had to enter their passcode to unlock FaceID.

This is something that’s normally only required once, the first time you turn on the phone.

Others found out the ‘hard way’, so to speak.

In the morning, they picked up their iPhone and found it ‘dead’, despite having a full battery after charging all night.

Not a day goes by without a new iOS17-related issue.

In fact, Apple’s latest update was so problematic that the company had to promptly release an ‘update for the update‘.

The good news is everything seems to be fine after the new iOS17.03., which was released just a few days ago, so hopefully it stays that way.
