The Bloodhound LSR team is getting ready to set a new world record.
And they’re looking for a driver who’s up to the job.
Anyone can apply.
All you need is the right experience and the skills needed to drive at extreme speeds.
Oh, and $14.6 million.

The Bloodhound Land Speed Record (LSR) project has been working on its record for years.
The aim is to beat the current land speed record, which was set at 763.035 mph in 1997.
The Bloodhound LSR vehicle is a rocket-powered car specially designed for the task.
It features a Rolls-Royce EJ200 jet engine, a cluster of Nammo hybrid rockets and a 550bhp Jaguar V8.
And it can go from 0 to 628mph in just 50 seconds.
The attempt has been delayed more times than the Cybertruck, having been announced way back in 2008.
To inject new life into the project, Bloodhound has launched a campaign: the hunt for a new driver.
It’s called Race to Greatness: Bloodhound Land Speed Record Driver Search.
Drivers can apply via the website.
“If you think you have the right experience, skills and have what it takes to drive a car at over 800mph, whilst providing the necessary funding, then we would love to hear from you,” Bloodhound says.
The driver originally intended to take on this challenge was Andy Green.
He set the current record back in 1997 but is no longer up to such a feat.
Instead, he’ll be training the new driver.
The team are confident that with the right driver, the record can be achieved.
“The only hurdle that stands in our way is raising the required funding,” Bloodhound says.
“We hope that this new opportunity will attract the investment/sponsorship required.”
The project will be setting the first net zero land speed record.
The car will be fueled without fossil-derived fuels.
Rather it will be using a sustainable fuel which is repurposed from sources like used cooking oil or household rubbish.
Bloodhound hopes that this will inspire a new generation of engineers to find sustainable solutions while pushing engineering boundaries.
The team is currently touring the UK with a full-size replica of the Bloodhound LSR car.
Hopefully it catches the eye of a daredevil millionaire in the area.
