A Chevy Nova is up for sale after a father halted work due to his daughter passing away decades ago.
The 1978 Nova was originally a project for the two to complete together, but when life events made it difficult to pursue the project- the dad wasn’t interested in keeping the DIY going.
Now, the car is up for sale for another metal head to try their dab-hand at.
And, it could only set you back as little as $1,000

This Chevy Nova had more than one V8 option
The 1978 Chevy Nova offered not one, but two V8 options.
The standard 250 cubic-inch came complete with a six-cylinder rated at 110 horsepower.
If that wasn’t enough, the alternative offered a 350ci unit, too.
This option meant the car came raring to go with 145 horsepower and also had the added perks of a four-speed manual or, an automatic transmission.

The car, back in its day served many a purpose.
The Chevy could be used for daily commutes from town to town, or even a little racer too.
The old car’s parts were all painted individually and assembled by a German Watchmaker, too.
It was also loved by professionals too, with cops even noted the car as their option of choice in an impressive 47 states.
It could only cost you $1,000
After remaining in the same place for the last 36 years, the car only has a bit of surface rust damage- a big win.
No parts are missing either- with only a floor being an extra handy element to be acquired.
But, there are not a great deal of specifics known about the engine.
There is a powertrain still used in the car- but your best bet will be to get a trusted mechanic to have an in-depth look at the engine, after all – it has been collecting dust since 1989.

The car so far, has a top bid of $1,000 dollars.
And it has quite a few fans. So far, there are nine people who have a close eye on the vintage car.
You can also view the car in person too, with the vehicle being parked in the idyllic Country Club Hills, Illinois.
