In one of the most efficient car restorations ever, one popular online mechanic has restored a flooded Rolls-Royce Cullinan in a matter of days.
Popular car restorer Mat Armstrong has sunk his teeth into a massive project with a particularly soggy luxury car.
After buying the flood-damaged 4×4 for a fraction of its true value, the YouTube personality has completely flipped it within a week.
Oh, and it left him with a fully functional Rolls-Royce Cullinan for half of its market price.

YouTuber buys sunken Rolls-Royce for a bargain, but it needs a lot of work
Armstrong recently missed his target on a restoration project as a 29-mile totaled Aston Martin DB12 proved too difficult to turn around in just 24 hours.
But this time, he’s managed to completely turn around this Rolls Royce that thought of itself as a pirate ship.
By visiting Copart, an auction site that sells ‘salvage’ cars (written off by insurance companies), Armstrong netted a Rolls-Royce Cullinan for £162,000 ($202,000), which was half the price of its original purchase at £380,000 ($473,000).
The car was written off for flood damage, but the exterior appeared to be in good condition.
After investigation, Armstrong found that there was no hydraulic damage – which is common in flooded cars.
However, the car was still riddled with electrical faults and interior damage.
Immediately they found that the seats, doors, and dashboard were all out of action.
The headlamps gleaming gave them hope though.
Miraculously, the car actually ran and drove, despite having many, many electrical faults.
But, there was still a lot of work to do.
Flooded Rolls-Royce Cullinan restored in one week
The restoration project was quickly hit with a snafu, as the giddy new owner drove the car back and overcharged the battery, which was dangerously close to burning up and catching fire.
But, in a one-week special haul, replacements for an abundance of electrical components (including a battery, alternator, and more), the car was back to its best and fully restored.
Armstrong polished up the interior too, removing any sightings of water damage.
With the Cullinan primed and ready, he even took it on a special trip through the snow-capped mountains of Switzerland, showing it off in an impressive fashion.
Armstrong claimed to have spent £62,000 ($77,000) on repairs to get this Rolls-Royce Cullinan restored, leaving him over $100,000 better off if he were to have bought this pre-flood.
Rolls-Royce Cullinan cars like this one-of-one billionaire edition that Supercar Blondie – a.k.a Alex Hirschi – showed off in December, are easily some of the most beautiful luxury cars in the world.
