One car enthusiast has giddily revealed plans to transform one run-down and forgotten DeLorean to come back to the future as a twin-turbo V6 Tesla hybrid.
The DeLorean is one of the most loved cars of all time thanks to its awesome wing doors and a helping hand from Hollywood and Marty Mcfly.
But the 80s time machie really needs help getting back to the 21st century.
So, why not modify an old one and time warp a DeLorean into a brand-spanking twin-turbo Tesla?

YouTuber is turning an old forgotten DeLorean into a V6 twin-turbo Tesla Hybrid
The DeLorean is on its way back in a new format as the Alpha5 has been announced to arrive 40 years after its ancestor.
While we wait to see how this famed supercar will fare without its long coupe body, car fanatics have been obsessed with reviving the original cars, and YouTube personality Hazell Nutz is doing just that.
In a recent upload, the content creator revealed that he bought a run-down and broken DeLorean in 2019 but has left it to the elements for the last two years, forgetting its existence.
But now he’s pledged to give it a new lease of life by strapping in a twin-turbo V6 Honda engine and turning it into an electric hybrid.
The mechanic revealed that they will be pairing the rear V6 with a front Tesla motor to turn it into a hybrid.
The DeLorean will have to have some huge modifications to its front end though, as there is limited space for a Tesla motor and the bonnet is quite a hassle anyway.
Instead, they plan to take the front end of another car and extend the DMC, which then makes the car a…Tesla-powered V6 DeLorean-InsertCarHere Hybrid. I think. Mods are confusing.
Funnily enough, another content creator has done this modification in reverse, turning their Tesla Model X into a Back to the Future-inspired DeLorean.
Experienced modifier mechanic is a pro at sprucing up DeLoreans
The team behind this new project are no strangers to giving a forgotten DeLorean a bit of plastic surgery.
Already, the channel has showcased two modified DeLoreans.
One is a stripped-down fibre-glass state which has teething issues with a modified front suspension, and another with a humongous twin-turbo V8 engine.
This new DeLorean x Tesla project might be some time in the making though, as the creator put ‘a year’ timeframe on the next video.
Historically, DeLoreans are a modifier’s best friend and do well with new parts, just like the time other YouTubers put a Ferrari engine inside the fabled car.
