Kicking things off, let’s talk about the Gulfstream G800’s industry-leading range.

With a range of 8,000 nautical miles (14,816 km), the private jet has the ability to fly across the globe efficiently and at relatively high speeds.

That means New York to Tokyo, London to Buenos Aires and Sydney to Cape Town are all reachable with just a single stopover.

Advanced avionics

The Gulfstream G800 really is a pilot’s dream thanks to its next-generation flight deck.

Not only does the cockpit feature active control side sticks, an industry first, it also features 10 different touchscreen displays for pilots to use.

It’s even equipped with an award-winning predictive landing performance system – a critical new safety feature that aims to prevent runway overshoots.

Last, but certainly not least, the aircraft’s also equipped with the industry’s most advanced visual controls.

Gulfstream’s new Combined Vision System (CVS) provides pilots with near-complete flight clarity, meaning they can land even under certain zero-visibility conditions.

Impressive performance

Thanks to its next-generation engines, the Gulfstream G800 can fly to heights never before realized by a private jet all while cruising at impressive speeds.

According to Gulfstream, the G800 can cruise at Mach 0.85 (1,049 km/h) / 652 mph) for maximum range.0.9

However, it can cruise faster at Mach 0.9 (1,111 km/h / 690 mph) while only sacrificing around 1,000 nautical miles (1,852 km) of range.

The G800 can cruise at 41,000 feet, pushing beyond what most private jets or commercial aircraft are capable of.

The private jet can even climb as high as 51,000 feet safely.

That’s why the G800 features newly-designed aerodynamic wings and advanced winglets.

These increase the aircraft’s fuel efficiency and reduce emissions over its predecessors.

Not only does the G800 feature a next-generation, air filtration system that renews fully every two to three minutes, but its cabin can be arranged in a variety of configurations.

As well as living spaces for passengers, a dedicated crew compartment has also been included, ensuring pilots are well-rested on long-haul journeys.

Standing up and walking around while in flight is no problem, as the cabin has a height of 6 feet 3 inches (190 cm).
