These guys came across an abandoned Honda Acura NSX supercar but found mice living inside it.

YouTube channel WD Detailing took a closer look at the car, hoping to bring it back to life.

Given that it hadn’t been washed in years, they had quite the job on their hands.

A closer look at a run-down Acura NSX

Speaking to the car’s owner Bill, it quickly becomes apparent that the car had been in bad shape for a while.

Bill told WD Detailing: “We got this, it was the cheapest NSX in the country, by quite a way. This was two years ago.

“These are the wheels that came with it, it came with mismatched steelies.”

Bill confirmed that the car would need servicing once it’d been cleaned up, branding it a ‘basketcase’.

After getting the car into the trailer, it becomes apparent that there’s a stowaway on board.

Namely a group of mice, with one crawling out from underneath the vehicle.

It’s not entirely clear how they got in there, but being sat in a field for an extended period of time could be pointed to as a likely factor.

It was a point of concern for people after it was revealed that Tesla had been keeping some of their cars in a field in north Florida.

Bringing the supercar back to life

Back at the shop, WD Detailing set about getting the job done.

A ton of vacuming was needed, as the car had accumulated a lot of leaves and waste.

Emptying out the boot nearly drove one of the hosts to vomiting.

This isn’t the first time a car restoration has brought somebody close to puking – the job on Snoop Dogg’s famous Cadillac had a similar effect.

This was apparently the worst smelling trunk they’d ever worked on, thanks to the mice using the boot as a bathroom.

They tough it out and make good on their word to bring the NSX back to life.

Let’s just say, by the time the video draws to a close, it looks brand new.

It was time for Bill to come and take a look at the car, and he had a big reaction.

If you want to take a look at the full video, head over to WD Detailing’s channel.

They’re doing some cool stuff over there.
