This private jet is one of the finest in the skies.

It’s the Bombardier Global Express, capable of impressive speeds and long-haul flights.

This jet doesn’t just fly—it makes its passengers feel like they’re in a five-star hotel in the air.

This YouTuber was granted access to the private aircraft, and luckily for us, has shared behind-the-scenes footage.

Aboard the Bombardier Global Express

This model was introduced in the 1990s as an ultra-long-range business jet.

With a range of about 6,000 nautical miles, it’s able to fly from New York to Dubai without stopping.

But while this particular private jet is a first-generation Global Express, it still looks as good as new 22 years later.

Far from a slow cruiser, the Global Express can reach Mach 0.89 and maintains a comfortable cruising speed of around Mach 0.85.

A private jet like this will set you back about $53 million.

This is a lot, but half of what some celebrities spend on their private jets.

This particular model flew in from Nigeria to St. Stephan Airfield, a small airport in the heart of the Swiss Alps.

Inside the luxurious private jet

YouTuber Akash Malakar was welcomed on board by the plane’s very own flight attendant, whose priority is making clients feel like they’re in a 5-star hotel.

At the front of the jet is the galley, which holds amenities like an oven and an espresso machine, all neatly hidden behind sliding mahogany doors.

There are always secret rooms that passengers will never see on planes, and Malakar was given a peek behind the curtain to see where the flight attendant rests and eats.

The main area is spacious, with each seat equipped with an iPad and able to fold down to be completely flat.

There is enough room for 13 people to comfortably sleep onboard, and there is a master suite at the rear of the plane with its own bathroom.

The interior design is simple, a nod to classic aviation styling, unlike the Bombardier Global 6000 which got a very modern blue and white makeover.

Passengers are required to remove their shoes before climbing on board to protect the silk carpet that runs throughout.

And for $53 million, you’d want your carpets to stay clean.
