A Danish billionaire has become one of the lucky few who have been able to order a Koenigsegg Gemera hypercar.

However, businessman Jorgen Hansen has no intention of driving his new toy. Instead, it will be a static exhibit at a historic location.

Hansen bought his Gemera to display at Brolokke Manor on the Danish island of Langeland.

The car will remain static at all times, with the billionaire’s ulterior motive being to attract as many people as possible to visit the estate.

The Koenigsegg Gemera is being used to boost tourism

Hansen told the Danish publication FAA ‘we hope it can attract people to Langeland,’ having bought the Manor itself for around $2.7 million in 2021.

Owning our own large estate on a beautiful island is probably a dream for many of us.

There is no better way to promote a luxurious location than with a luxury car, and few cars can rival the Koenigsegg Gemera, which was launched in 2020.

Incredibly, at a price of $2.7 million, the Gemera costs as much to buy as the actual manor.

Adding the Gemera to the manor provides a bit of contemporary design to a truly historic location.

Originally named Brobjerg, Brolokke Manor dates back to the 16th century, with some elements from the 18th and 19th centuries.

Today, the Manor operates as a hotel and restaurant, and Hansen is working to improve its tourism appeal.

Koenigsegg’s supercar has over 2,000HP under the hood

It would be a shock if the Gemara didn’t attract some attention from those who visit the island.

The supercar was initially set to have a 2.0-liter TFG twin-turbocharged inline-three powering it.

However, Koenigsegg canceled the engine before production began in 2024, with customers demanding more power.

Instead, the Gemera was given a 5.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8.

That V8 is backed up with three electric motors, creating a formidable hybrid supercar.

Combined, the V9 and electric motors mean the Gemera makes over 2,300HP.

It is currently the most powerful car that Koenigsegg has ever made.

Its top speed is 249 mph, while it has a ludicrously fast 0-62 mph time of just 1.9 seconds.
