A Rolls-Royce Cullinan has been given an attention-grabbing purple makeover by high-end tuning company Mansory.

For many car-lovers, it would be hard to improve upon the sleek look of the luxury SUV; but Mansory has given it its best shot with this deep purple customization.

To help put the ‘sport’ in ‘sports utility vehicle’, Mansory has added a touch of carbon fiber – but has avoided going overboard, keeping the car looking sharp.

‘The color of royalty.’

Mansory has nixed all the car’s high-shine chrome elements in favor of something a little bit darker while multispoke alloys – also in black – add to the drama of the new-look Cullian.

Inside, it looks as though the tuning company has put its stamp on the seats – literally; the white leather upholstery has branded headrests, while flashes of purple inside compliment the exterior.

Although I suspect this Cullinan makeover might cause a bit of division among Rolls-Royce fans, we have to admit, we think it looks smart.

Sharing snaps of the done-up motor on Instagram, Mansory wrote: “Purple is the attractive color of royalty. This Rolls Royce Cullinan by Mansory is a stunner in a tantalizing classic British scheme.” Fancy.

There’s no mention if the engine was given a touch-up, too, but there would be little need as the Cullinan already packs a hefty punch.

Its V12 engine with twin-turbocharging and a 6.75-liter displacement is capable of producing 562 horsepower.

The Cullinan Series II is on the way

Released back in 2018, the Cullinan has gone on to become the ‘most requested model’, according to Rolls-Royce.

And just last month, the luxury car manufacturer announced its Cullinan had been given a complete overhaul for the Series II, with the brand declaring it a ‘bold evolution of the world’s pre-eminent super-luxury SUV’.

Outwardly, the Series II appears to have an enhanced stance, with lines on the bumper creating a ‘V’ shape reminiscent of the prow of a superyacht; its daytime running lights make the car appear wider, while its proportions look softer than on the original.

Inside, the Cullinan Series II has an unchanged mechanical specification: 6.75-liter, 563bhp twin turbo V12, 663 lb-ft of torque. The new car was debuted at Villa d’Este in Italy in May.

Rolls-Royce is yet to reveal if it will be available in purple, but watch this space, right?
