When you think of low riders, a Chevy Impala SS Coupe or Chevy Caprice Classic likely spring to mind.
But what about something that hails from Germany?
If the truth be told, the Maybach GLS 600 makes a great low rider – albeit the world’s most expensive one.
From the outside, the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 looks like an ‘ordinary’ SUV – but it has a rather cool trick up its sleeve.
Officially called Free Driving Assist, the feature is an off-road mode that helps drivers get free when they’re stuck in sand or mud.
The feature uses the air suspension to bounce the car up and down, helping the car shimmy out of sticky situations.
We can’t imagine many Maybach driver’s taking their SUV off-road, but we can well imagine people using it in traffic or at stoplights to elicit a reaction from surrounding drivers.
