The Patek Philippe desk clock mixes ‘tradition with innovation’
Any fan of luxury designer watches will be more than familiar with the name Patek Philippe.
The Swiss brand creates timepieces that go far, far beyond the ordinary, and can sell for millions of dollars.

So much so, that this Patek Philippe Grand Complication Sky Moon Tourbillon sold for the price of two Bugattis.
The watchmaker’s latest masterpiece is this absolutely beautiful desk clock – known as the 27000M-001 desk clock – that was unveiled at the Watches and Wonders Geneva 2025 event.
The watchmaker says the clock, which also features a perpetual calendar, ‘combines tradition and innovation’.
The design is based around the heritage 1923 Packard Clock, but has been pulled very firmly into the 21st century when it comes to its ‘accuracy and user-friendliness’ and has an impressive 31 day power reserve.
What more can you ask for?
The stunning timepiece doesn’t come cheap
The clock features a sterling silver case with green Grand Feu flinqué enamel detailing and a walnut wood base.
The upper panel and bezel have been engraved with a ‘rope’ motif and there are decorative elements – such as winged lions – that were borrowed from the original 1923 clock.

However, the clock’s insides are even more impressive than what’s going on outside – as its fitted with a 912 component Caliber 86-135 PEND S IRM Q SE movement that took seven years to make.
Alongside being able to tell you the time, the manually wound clock has a perpetual calenda, weekly calendar, a moonphase display, and a power reserve indicator.
It measures 135mm by 86mm and is 28.55mm thick – making it the ideal desk top companion, if you happen to be a millionaire, that is.
The Patek Philippe clock will reportedly set you back a staggering $1.13 million, meaning that its a bit beyond the budget for most folks.
