This guy bought the cheapest Bugatti Veyron he could find, which is why he now calls himself the world’s ‘poorest Bugatti owner’.
The idea was to buy the car as a ‘project’, then use it for a while and maybe keep it or flip it.
His plan went well at first and it kind of fell apart after.
Mostly due to the slightly embarrassing way he managed to damage his Bugatti – again.

We all know that Bugattis are high-performance cars that don’t come cheap. Well, most of us do.
Tyler Hoover, the man behind the Hoovies Garage YouTube channel, calls himself the ‘poorest Bugatti owner’ as well as the ‘dumbest automobile YouTuber’ in the world.
Once you see what kind of projects he takes on, you’ll see why he says that.
A new Veyron can cost millions of dollars, but Hoover managed to find one that was cheap – sort of – because it had a broken shifter and couldn’t reverse.
Damaged supercars can sometimes be surprisingly affordable simply because they’re so expensive to fix.
Still, Hoover pulled it off, and things went well for a while… Until he damaged his car – again – by accidentally dropping a bolt into the engine bay while working on it.
He shared details about this blunder in a new video he uploaded just days ago. Which means we can definitely stay tuned for further updates in the coming weeks.
Bugatti’s maintenance costs will make you gulp
All supercars are expensive to run, but Bugatti probably deserves the top spot in this particular list.
For example, a Chiron will need an oil change after 14 months or 10,000 miles.
That will cost around $25,000 in total.
Bugatti also recommends you replace the fuel tank, front brake discs and pads, and even the turbochargers after just four years.
This could add well over $200,000 to your bill that particular year.
All in all, on average, you’re looking at at least about $100,000 per year.
If you can’t afford maintenance, as the adage goes, you can’t afford the car.
