A Porsche 911 Turbo S and Nissan GT-R raced a Ducati Panigale V4S and it was a sorry sight for someone

  • This three-way drag race was thought to be too close to call
  • But one vehicle stormed every single heat
  • And another was a surprising loser

In one of the most stacked three-way drag race heats we’ve seen in some time, two beastly cars – a Porsche 911 Turbo S and Nissan GT-R – took on a Ducati Panigale V4S motorcycle – and it was a sorry sight for someone.

For decades, the two-wheeled arrows have left their heavier, chunkier, and wider counterparts in the dust.

But recent times have shifted this pattern on its head.

So, with more turbo punches than a royal rumble, could this legendary bike finally put itself back on the map against a combined 2,200HP?

The Competitors: A look at the Porsche 911 Turbo S, Nissan GT-R & Ducati Panigale V4S

We’ve seen the Porsche in drag race action before, having taken on a Cybertruck.

But this three-way race might take some more performance for it to get over the line first.

We all know the Porsche 911 Turbo S is quite the improvement on its normal range and boasts some serious speed, especially when throwing in a JM 3.8 Forged Engine.

The Nissan GT-R on the other hand is a car that is undergoing quite a change after dying off and is currently awaiting a wacky UFO-looking next-gen release.

Still, if it’s quick enough for Sebastian Vettel, it’s fast enough for this.

But could any of these cars hold a candle to the world’s most powerful single-cylinder engine?

Ducati boasts that in its arsenal, and with 1100cc, it came to the race fancying its chances – as did its driver.

The results

Well, it’s not pretty reading for the Ducati Panigale V4S as the cars dominated.

In a roll-race start, it was the Porsche 911 Turbo S that shone, despite the motorbike looking strong in moments but struggling with stability at the highest of speeds.

The Porsche 911 was unfortunately ruled out from any more through a flat tire.

However, they had a spare.

No, not a spare tire. A spare Porsche 911. Talk about efficiency.

This 911 was even quicker, dominating the final roll race.

Heading over to drag racing and it was from bad to worse for one vehicle.

We’ve yet to mention the Nissan GTR, and for good reason.

Although the driver set their first-ever sub-10 second time, the car scarcely put up a fight, losing most races and only taking second place by a bumper’s length on the odd occasion.

The king Porsche took the spoils again, leaving both other vehicles licking their wounds.
