Range Rover made a limited-edition version of its flagship car, the SV Autobiography, as a tribute to a tiny British town that even some people in the United Kingdom might not be familiar with.
The car features subtle references to the town throughout, and it truly is ‘limited.’
Only 10 units will ever be built.

Range Rover calls it the Burford Edition, named for the town of Burford, which is around 18 miles from Oxford.
More to the point, Burford is located in the Cotswolds, an affluent region located around 70 miles west of London, where Range Rover sells cars like candies.
What does the Burford Edition Range Rover look like?
Based on the Range Rover SV P615 Long Wheelbase, the SUV is finished in Aether Grey with satin finish and matching
The two-tone interior mixes Light Cloud and Cinder Grey, combining leather and textiles.
The result is an SUV that looks very understated, which is probably by design, and a further homage to Burford.
Only 10 units are to be built, and Range Rover says they’re made for ‘select’ customers, which is probably another way of saying the idea may have come from some of the company’s clients living in the region.
When automakers keep it subtle
Automakers don’t always go over the top with their limited-edition models.
For every Lamborghini STJ, a blue and red car with a massive wing, there’s always a Rolls-Royce Ghost Prism, which is basically a toned-down version of the Ghost with a matte gray finish and gray wheels.
With the Burford Edition, the new Range Rover is so subtle you can barely tell it’s a limited-edition version and not just another Range Rover.
That’s exactly how some people like it, though.
