It’s not every day that you see an extremely rare car in miserable circumstances — but this one-of-one rare 1970 Mercury Cyclone GT was surprisingly found parked in a bush.

Surrounded by vegetation, the car is parked in some sort of a junkyard.

We can also see some other cars sitting next to it.

Despite its condition, this 1970 Mercury Cyclone GT is actually quite rare and might be even one of a kind.

A rare 1970 Mercury Cyclone GT found

If you are an American muscle car enthusiast then you must know about the 1970 Mercury Cyclone GT.

Produced from 1964 to 1971, the Cyclone GT was also quite popular in that era.

It was positioned between the Mercury Cougar, Marquis, and Marauder.

Back in the day, the American automaker produced approximately 10K units of the muscle car.

Today, there are only 3,470 examples left with the same 351 cubic-inch four-barrel engine paired with an automatic transmission.

But what makes this car unique is the rare combination of the engine, color, seats, heavy-duty batteries, and wheels.

This particular model of the 1970 Mercury Cyclone GT was posted on eBay for auction with a $1 reserve.

Unfortunately, the auction ended prematurely due to some error in the listing.

However, make no mistake, this particular muscle car is quite rare.

What’s more, it might also be one of a kind.

One-of-a-kind Cyclone GT

This 1970 Mercury Cyclone GT is finished in Competition Orange color, but it’s unclear if it’s the original finishing.

Only 448 Cyclone GTs left the factory with this color, out of which only 37 cars sported Black Houndstooth Cloth bucket seats like this car.

That’s where things get interesting as only two 1970 Mercury Cyclone GT were equipped with heavy-duty batteries.

Moreover, only one Cyclone GT came with styled steel wheels, making it a one-of-a-kind muscle car.
