After planning several tourist attractions, Saudi Arabia is now building the Middle East’s largest water park, called Aquarabia.
It’s a snappy name, you have to admit.
This water park will be located in the city of Qiddiya, near the outskirts of the country’s capital, Riyadh.

Because of its size, Aquarabia is definitely an ambitious project, just like The Line.
If all goes according to plan, the water park will have an extremely long catalog of rides, of which four would break world records.
The record-breakers include the world’s tallest water coaster, the world’s tallest drop body slide, the world’s tallest water slide, and the world’s longest mat racer.
That’s a lot of records, for sure.
And if that doesn’t seem enough, the park will also feature a unique underwater adventure ride.
Even better, you could sit inside fully submersible cars for the underwater ride.
Seems exciting, doesn’t it?
Further, there’s also a sports arena, where the water park will host international competitions, including surfing and motorsport racing.
So, what about the ‘water’ activities in the water park?
Well, Aquarabia plans to be a little adventurous by offering rafting, kayaking, canyoneering, and even cliff jumping.
It’s basically a place to do whatever you want and have fun while forgetting all your problems.
After you’ve experienced the water rides, you might want to take a few days off and visit the Red Sea luxury tourist resort.
Saudi Arabia’s water park will complement the Six Flags Qiddiya City project, which is an adventure theme park in the same location.
Interestingly, the theme park also shows off lucrative interactions like an F1 track and the world’s tallest and fastest rollercoaster.
Nothing unusual about it.
So, there’s a theme park for your ‘regular’ adventures, and a water park if you want to step it up.
It seems like the perfect getaway if you want to check everything off your bucket list in one day.
At the time of writing, 72% of the rides are ready to roll, and the authorities expect to announce a grand opening by next year.
