This is Sea Club 53, a new 174-foot superyacht launched by Alia Yachts.

The yacht was designed from scratch for an owner who personally worked with Alia, Azure and Diana Yacht Design to customize the yacht.

And the result is outstanding.

Sea Club 53 was built by Alia, the same shipyard that made SAN, an award-winning ship featuring a superstructure from glass.

Apparently, according to Alia, the owner to make sure it could feature the same some sort of amenities you’d normally find in a much bigger yacht.

The irony is this automatically reminds us that in the wild world of superyachts, 174 feet (53 meters, hence the name) is considered ‘average’.

Sea Club 53 features a massive helipad

Visually, the first thing that stands out is the abnormally large helipad, which appears to be significantly bigger than it is in most superyachts.

This is because the helideck is fully certified for helicopters measuring up to 42 feet (13 meters) in length.

This means it is large enough to accommodate the sort of chopper that even the U.S. Army or the Royal Air Force might use.

Interestingly, there’s no mention of things like swimming pools or jacuzzis.

Either because it’s taken for granted that Sea Club 53 will have both, or because the entire yacht is devoted to sea toys.

It’s all about sea toys

Sea Club 53 is also designed to be a large ‘garage’ for all the toys the yacht can transport.

Aside from the helicopter, she can also store a submersible, a 43-foot tender, a 26-foot crew tender, two sailing catamarans, two dinghies, two Waverunners, and other dive gear and equipment.

Not even Jeff Bezos’ $500 million sailing yacht Koru has all that space for sea toys.
