Taylor Swift gives every one of her 50 truck haul crew massive six-figure bonuses

Taylor Swift fans have another reason to adore the singer.

Over the last few months, she’s entertained thousands of fans across the US with her Eras Tour.

Of course, none of that would’ve been possible without her truckers, so to show her thanks she’s given them all massive six figure bonuses.

If you’re a fan of Taylor Swift, you’ll know that she’s visited dozens of cities over the past few months.

Each and every show’s been epic, packed with outfit changes, various instruments, huge screens, and amazing stages.

So, it was a big job setting up from one venue to the next.

Apparently, it required a 50-strong truck crew to haul all her equipment across the country.

And, as Swift prepared to round off the US leg of her tour, she decided to express her gratitude for all their hard work.

Sources close to the tour told TMZ that the singer handed out six-figure bonuses to each trucker as an ‘end of tour bonus’.

Supposedly, each driver was given a whopping $100,000 bonus for their efforts.

If you do some quick math, 50 drivers getting $100,000 each suggests Taylor Swift shelled out at least $5 million.

Oh, and the truck drivers weren’t the only ones to get a ‘special’ thank you from the singer.

Band members, dancers, lighting and sound technicians, and caters all received bonuses, too.

The exact amount of everyone’s bonuses is unclear, but apparently it was a ‘very generous amount’.

All these bonuses add up to a huge amount, but it’s worth bearing in mind that Taylor Swift’s tour has raked in $1 billion in sales in the US alone.

After she’s wrapped up in the US, Swift will move on to Mexico before heading to a couple of other South American countries, and then travel to Japan and Australia.

In 2024, she’ll continue the tour in Europe with shows in France, Portugal, the UK, and Germany.
