If you know anything about Tesla, you’ll know that their EVs are filled to the brim with tech.
From caraoke to dog mode, hidden Easter eggs and much more, Tesla cars have been engineered with a range of cool features and secret settings.
But it’s the brand’s latest system that’s blowing everyone away.
People are going as far to say that it’s one of the best features they’ve ever seen.

What is the Tesla feature?
The feature we’re referring to is the new Tesla ASS system, which stands for Actually Smart Summon.
In a nutshell, it’s a way for you to summon your EV over to your location.
Just a few days ago, the tech firm uploaded a video to their YouTube channel where it showed exactly how ASS works.
t wasn’t that long ago we saw a video in which truck experts took a Tesla Cybertruck off-roading in Colorado to see if FSD works in the middle of nowhere.
One YouTuber even drove his Tesla Plaid underwater with shocking results – but that’s not something we’d really advise doing.
How does ASS work?
In the video, a Tesla car is parked in a parking lot space before it’s summoned by the owner using their smartphone.
What happens next is the EV begins to reverse out of its parking spot all of its own accord, before making its way to where the owner is standing waiting.
The video description says, “Actually Smart Summon enables your car to come to you from anywhere in the parking lot or to a location of your choosing.
“Summoning your Tesla makes loading up easier and keeps you dry in the rain,” the video description states.
It continues, “Actually Smart Summon is designed and intended for use only on parking lots and driveways located on private property where the surrounding area is familiar and predictable. Do not use on public roads.”
Long gone are the days of searching for your EV in a busy parking lot when you’ve forgotten where you parked it, as ASS will bring your vehicle straight to you.
So, what are people saying about ASS?
As to be expected, a host of viewers took to the comments section of the video to share their opinions of the new feature.
“Used it on mine, it’s a new experience to see a Tesla move with no one in it. The white seats really make it obvious that it’s empty,” one user commented.
Another wrote, “We have a tight garage, and use ASS to have the car pull out or drive back in.
“It performs perfectly, even folding the mirrors automatically. Amazing technology.”
“I used it several times now on my car…..absolutely love it. Zero mistakes,” a third added.
Of course, the acronym for the feature has drawn plenty of attention, with one user commenting, “Elon for sure named this.”
“Elon knew what he was doing when he named it ASS,” another chimed in.
Another viewer had a suggestion for a new system, saying “Tesla Intelligent Tracking System (TITS).”
