This Tesla Cybertruck was filmed pulling a stuck Ford F-150 out from snow in Canada, but things might not be what they seem.

When footage of the remarkable rescue made its way online, there were some naysayers on standby to dismiss it.

There were some who even accused the video of being part of a staged set-up.

But whatever the case may be, one thing cannot be denied – the Cybertruck is a beast when it comes to towing.

The Cybertruck pulling a Ford F-150 out of the snow that divided the internet

In life, there are few things that are guaranteed.

But in the world of EVs, there’s one certainty – people love to compare other trucks to the Cybertruck.

Some guys compared the range of a Cybertruck and Rivian R1T, while others put it up against a Humvee in a tug of war.

Plenty of people have wanted to test the capabilities of the Tesla truck, whether that be through towing or farming.

But out in the cold, it’s had something of a mixed reputation online.

One clip showed the Cybertruck appearing to struggle in the snow, which was still marginally better than the one that could barely move in the snow.

With these concerning displays out there, it’s no wonder that its prowess in snowy conditions had been called into question.

A recent post on the Cybertruck Owners Club forum has been shared, which showed an alternative view.

In the clip, a Cybertruck is seen pulling a Ford F-150 out of the snow, using a towing cable.

It does so with ease, and a clip taken while the F-150 was stranded gave viewers an idea of how stuck it truly was.

The driver is seen desperately turning the wheels of his Ford in an attempt to get free, but no avail.

But despite this, the clips caused some division within the group.

Was this video staged or is it real?

The clip, shared by a Canadian user called J Graham, drew a mixed response on the forum.

“Meh…looks staged,” the first person to reply blithely wrote.

“Weirdest extraction angle ever? But it worked, so I guess it’s okay,” chimed in another doubter.

Others were a bit more forthcoming with compliments and praise.

“I can tell by your wheel orienteering that this isn’t your first rodeo.

“The CT is an absolute beast in these types of scenarios,” wrote one user.

“It’s always nice seeing people helping,” another commented.

“[It was in] off-road mode/snow. But it was an easy pull,” the original poster added in a reply further down the thread.

“Also have a new set of Duratrac’s mounted on stock rims from Tesla. I was playing around with a couple friends higher up the mountain, and we made a Cyber Taco,” they explained

Not quite as appetizing as a real taco.

But still a lot of fun
