Footage of the first Cybertruck ‘built for delivery’ has just been leaked

We’ve seen dozens of RC Cybertrucks cruising the streets of California in recent weeks.
But now we’ve been given a sneak peek at the first trucks believed to have been built for delivery.
And according to brand new drone footage, they have a far better build quality than the RC (release candidate) vehicles that came before them.

The two trucks, being called ‘Master Candidate Cybertrucks’, were spotted in drone footage taken outside the Texas Gigafactory by Joe Tegtmeyer.
When Tegtmeyer shared the footage to X, it went viral.
Cybertruck aficionado Greggertruck noticed the Master Candidates (MC) had a flush frunk, recovery hooks installed, no tonneau, and safety notice labels already on sun visors.
Other users noticed even more about the MC units.
One pointed out that it now had what they described as a “square steering wheel”, and another said it “looks like there are mounting points for a roof rack”.
“The dashboard is insane, you could curl up and take a nap on it,” said a third.
One got super excited at the site of plastic on the seats, saying “this is only done on delivery vehicles!”
But Greggertruck poured cold water over that excitement, saying “it’s been on a lot of RC trucks so far unfortunately”.
Tegtmeyer, the guy we have to thank for the new footage, said he thought the newest trucks would likely be sent out to Tesla stores to be tested by potential buyers.
But with very little information coming from Tesla, would-be Cybertruck owners are soaking up every little detail they can from X and online blogs.
Earlier today, we got new, close-up video footage of the Cybertruck’s highly-anticipated rear-wheel steering in action.
The close-up footage, captured by the side camera on Wilfredo’s Tesla, shows the back wheel looking and acting like a front wheel.
The footage only added to the hype, with viewers saying the Cybertruck would be “game-changing”.
