Supercar Blondie

This stunning 1,817 horsepower Hennessey Venom F5 is so powerful that it was named after the highest tornado threat.

Supercar Blondie – our very own Alex Hirschi – was given the chance to get up close to the Hennessey Venom F5 and it really is a car unlike any other.

The US-made sports car gets its name from the Fujita tornado scale, which puts F5 at the highest rating, with wind speeds between 420-512km/h (261-318mph) – Hennessey says the Venom F5 will hit speeds in excess of 500km/h (311mph), hence its name.

The Venom F5 is packed full of incredible details, including a super-sized rear diffuser, open taillights that help to disperse heat from the engine, and there’s even some real gold on the V8 engine. Fancy and fast.
