There are few brands names so synonymous with luxury as Rolls-Royce, with the high-end marque known for their attention to detail, timeless designs and celebrity status.

And when it came to Rolls-Royce’s first ever EV – the Spectre – this was no different.

While the Rolls-Royce Spectre 2024 is stunning as a stock vehicle, the carmaker also offers an abundance of customizable elements to make the car truly personal.

The Rolls-Royce Spectre has some incredible customization options

Earlier this year, Alex Hirschi – aka Supercar Blondie – took delivery of her very own Spectre and was delighted with how the customized elements turned out.

She opted for the ‘timeless’ classic black shade but decided to switch things up with the ‘biggest wheels on any Rolls-Royce’—the 23-inch rims with a colored center.

Alex has since had the car repainted in ‘Boracay Blue’ – a beautiful official Rolls-Royce color.

Other unique touches include a turquoise coach line to match what you see when you open the door and a light-up Spirit of Ecstasy emblem that pops up from the car’s hood and stands out at night – a first-ever for Rolls-Royce.

Another optional first-ever element is the Starlight doors that feature almost 5,000 hand-placed stars.

The inside is as stunning as the outside.

Alex chose a grey and white color scheme across the seats and doors, with extra piping, stitching, and turquoise accents that also feature on the piano-black light-up dash and controls.

The Spectre also boast some never-before-seen features

Rolls-Royce says the Spectre is ‘the most powerful Rolls-Royce ever — a spiritual successor to the Phantom Coupé and an emblem of artisanship in perfect harmony with electric technology.’

It features several brand-new features we’ve not seen before including an illuminated grille that is the widest of any Rolls-Royce ever made.

It features angled metal vanes that ‘shape’ the air and bend the light – and looks truly magnificent after dark. The impact is boosted with the vertical tail lights, which have been dubbed ‘ an ‘island of detail’ by its designers.

Similarly, the headlights are a brand-new design – albeit one that takes inspiration from the Phantom. The headlights have two components – upper lights for daytime and a lower four-lamp cluster for driving when it’s darker.

The iconic Spirit of Ecstasy has also been given a bit of a makeover for the Spectre.

The redesign has the figure ‘riding the wind at a lower stance’ while her ‘reimagined robes flow delicately in her wake’. Doesn’t get much more fancy than that, does it?

The Spectre underwent millions of miles of testing

But – of course – the details don’t begin and end with aesthetics, and Rolls-Royce did not shy away from robust testing of the Spectre.

So much so that before the car even went into production, test drivers spent some 50,000 hours at the wheel, equivalent to around 400 years of (simulated) use.

In total, they put together 1.5 million miles or 2.5 million kilometers across a wide range of environments.

Not only that, but the hard-working team analyzed and tuned every one of the car’s 141,200 digital sender-receiver relations and 25,000 performance-related features.

Or to put it simply: they analyzed over 160,000 individual signals the car’s ‘brain’ sent back to see if they could do better.

In terms of performance, the Spectre’s ectric motors produce 577 horsepower in total, that are capable of propelling the car from a standstill to 0-97 km/h (0-60 mph) in 4.4 seconds, which is seriously impressive for a car weighing nearly three tons.

All in all, the Spectre is definitely one to add on to your wish list.
