YouTube car fanatic ItsYeBoi has found a ‘genius’ unlimited Tesla battery hack, ensuring that the EV can run forever.
Well, kind of.
It’s a conundrum all too familiar with EV owners who want to get the best bang for their buck when it comes to optimizing their electrical output.
But ItsYeBoi – real name Sean Callaghan – might have found the perfect way to make sure your Tesla never runs out of battery, and it all comes from a cheeky Wish purchase.

Unlimited Tesla battery hack tested by YouTube ‘genius’
The YouTuber’s ‘genius’ idea stems from the most sustainable source of renewable energy – Solar power.
Much like every new-build house nowadays, the Tesla owner has now attached solar energy panels to his car and will cart it around in a hefty trailer.
In theory, he hoped that the massive panel would then generate more energy than the car uses, hence creating an unlimited charge – almost like having an application plugged in.
But we all know that’s quite a difficult feat; otherwise, we’d all have solar-paneled phones.
This would blow Tesla’s own mechanics out of the water and make the Long Range models completely redundant.
You have to admire the optimism.
Still, the YouTuber found some joy in this Tesla battery trick.
Does the unlimited solar power hack actually work on a Tesla?
The short answer is yes.
There are examples of some cars running solely on solar power.
The long answer is more of a no.
Technically, you can charge your Tesla using this method, especially during the longer summer days, but it would take a painstaking 40 hours to get a full charger.
At least, that was the case for ItsYeBoi.
“We’ve got to make sure they’re angled toward the Sun so we can maximize solar input,” the YouTuber said.
Unfortunately, the hack doesn’t quite work, and if it did, you’d bet your bottom dollar that the Musk man would be rolling out a completely sustainable Cybertruck upgrade.
In fact, there have been Cybertrucks that also tried similar solar methods in the past.
At least this method of charging would save you even more money on your electric and gas bills. It’s just not ‘unlimited’.
